MelixGx

Brand Redesign
Design trends are often late to catch up with biotech, which is ironic, considering how forward-thinking the science itself tends to be. For a company like MelixGx, which uses advanced genetic analysis to personalize cannabis consumption, the branding needed to reflect just how cutting-edge the product is.

MelixGx creates DNA testing kits that translate complex genetic data into simple, actionable insights, helping users understand which cannabis products and consumption methods work best for their unique makeup. I developed a new visual identity for the brand, along with packaging, stationery, ad mockups, and a prototype for their website, merging science with a system that feels sleek, smart, and accessible. This project was created for my Designing Brand Identities for Startup class, in an assignment where we had to give a brand of our choice a makeover.
